SPFHS student Livia Lavelli was named one of three winners in the 2026 Student Essay Contest hosted by the 22nd Legislative District.

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools theater programs earned statewide recognition as Nettingham Middle School was nominated for 12 Foxy Middle School Awards and Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School was nominated for 13 Foxy Awards.

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District is proud to offer FREE English language classes to adult English learners. Classes are open to family members of students enrolled in Scotch Plains-Fanwood public schools.
All classes will take place at Nettingham Middle School in Scotch Plains NJ.

Kindergarten Registration
All children who are residents of Scotch Plains or Fanwood and will be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
First Grade Registration
All children who are residents of Scotch Plains or Fanwood and will be 6 years old on or before October 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll in first grade. Please register your child if they have not yet attended the SPF school district.
